Dog Hair...

So I have four dogs right, well Beau slept in my room last night, on my couch. When I woke up this morning to let him out my couch was COVERED in his short little doggie hair. It took me like 10 sheets off a roller to get it all off. Not to mention, I'm sure my comforter has loads of it on there too because him and Belvadeer and sometimes Shiloh lay all over it because they are all so spoiled. You would think I would be use to dog hair because I work in it a lot of the time, when I do work and I'm not in school, but geez it drives me insane how much comes out all the time. Like the dogs should be bald with the amount they loose! Anyway, that's my spheel about dog hair...

Otherwise, my day has been pretty good! Before I went in to work I ran into The Jewelry Warehouse and got my sister a towel coverup to take to college with her with her initial on it. It is her birthday today and that's what I got her! Though I won't be able to get it til Monday, that's what a lack of money will get you, late presents and other problems, but I digress on that topic. Then I grabbed a Baconator from Wendy's ... may I say, delicious!! mmm!!! Anyway then I was at work. It was good day, like usual. Some crazy shelter appointments as always. One dog had hook and whipworms, but she was super cute!! I just hope this shelter agreement thing actually brings VCA some visits. Unlike the "gentleman" today who was very rude about wanting to transfer his pets somewhere else that was cheaper. He could have just asked for the records, but oh nooo he had to make a scene. At least no one was in there to see his charade of anger. Whatever, that's what you deal with when dealing with the general public sometimes. Then I came home and we got Grand Street for tonight, but tomorrow night we are going out to celebrate Kaley's birthday!! Turned 18 today ... all grown up and going to save China, I mean go to college! [That was a Mulan reference if you haven't seen the movie] haha! Then after dinner we chilled out and a huge thunderstorm came up and poured rain and thundered and lightened. Meanwhile, during the storm, Shiloh is having his usual fit got out of his cage and came and hid behind my back while I was sitting in the chair. Now back to the dog hair subject ... he sheds like a big dog when he is nervous. Oh and let me tell you, he was worked up. panting everywhere and slobbering from panting so hard, so we then proceeded to play keep away from him (me and my sister) and he got hair alllll over the rug in the living room. It's like an angora rug now, instead of the normal carpet feeling rug it should be. Well my sister can just vacuum it up tomorrow, all in her choirs anyway! Then we ran to Goodberries, it was delicious. Not too much rain on that side of Raleigh. I'm glad we got a lot though, because I ran our well dry last night, well not dry, but the water coming out of the faucets was a tinge brown. and no one wants to shower in dirty water, but I guess the dirt could be like a little free exfoliant! :) Though I think I will still pay money for my microbeads that I use for exfoliation! Now we are back here, I'm about to sleep so I can sleep in for the first time in a while, yay!! Beach count down 2 weeks ... Mike countdown 36 days!! :) Although that means classes countdown like 34 days, which is not long at all :( Anyway ttfn!!

"We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." Romans 6:2b-4

It's funny the past week I haven't really talked to Mike much, and I get down and depressed when I don't even hear from him for like 5 days. Then all of the sudden, he texts me or calls me for a few minutes and it's all better. The military "wife," though I am not that title yet, maybe in another year I will be, is a funny job. You are a single wife/mother for a while, while your man is over seas fighting for our country. I don't know, I just thought it was weird. I saw this quote on my friends facebook status the other day which is why I got thinking about all of it... "She packs. She moves. She follows. Why? What for? How come? You may think she's lost her mind. Actually, she's lost her heart. It was stolen from her by a man. A man who puts duty first, who longs to deploy, who salutes the flag, and whose boots in the doorway remind her that as long as he is her ... Military Husband she will remain his Military Wife. Repost if you're proud of your man who is in the Military!" I thought it was very sweet. Her husband is overseas right now and she is a single mom pretty much just by geography. She was fun to get to know in class last spring.

Anyway, today at work was fun. Busy most of the day. Seeing lots of cute shelter pets. Starting to get excited me and Michael will be getting a dog shortly after he gets home. I'm trying to push him more towards closer to me graduating in December since he won't be able to bring it to my apartment when he comes to visit. But it will be fun when we get one, I'm excited!!! I was talking to him today, as I said above, and I was telling him that my mom is like oh you're definitely getting engaged after graduation if not before. And he was like haha well we'll see. Then he said I guess that means I need to go golfing with you dad soon. And I was like well September is a lovely month for golfing. haha :)

I also worked a little in my garden today, it was nice, but very very hot. I was drenched with sweat by the time me and my sister finished. Which we only weeded like half of it. In other news ... people drive me absolutely crazy not following directions. I guess that should go under my work part though. Or after you give them directions they ask you the exact same questions you just finished telling them. Anyone in the medical profession knows that. Or anyway dealing with the public in general knows that. haha. Some people are just stupid, and need written directions I guess. Also, I got my medicine today ... Synthroid, aka Levothyroxine. I will be starting that in the AM so that should be fun since I am super awful taking medicine, of any size. But I guess there is no time like the present to learn!! I still have an appointment with an endocrinologist early August. So maybe he will tell me something different or figure out where the exact problem is coming from. But I will update on that as it comes along! Anyway, that's about it for today!

"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death -- even death on a cross!" -Philippians 2:5-8

I realized I forgot I had this and should start blogging again.

Today was pretty boring, I was told to come in later to work today so I have been at home doing laundry and playing with my dogs ... Belvadeer, Beauregard and Shiloh!! They are too cute!! We were sleeping for a good part of the day. Which is nice since I don't sleep that much anymore, or at least sleep well anymore. I guess I have my days. So working 4-8 tonight, long day right? haha. Then doing not much after I get off, maybe weeding and watering my garden. I have gotten some peppers and tomatoes out of it so far, but it has been such a dry season that not much is actually juicy. So hopefully we will get some rain this week as forecast.

Yesterday at work was pretty busy and the schedule looked super busy for today. And I don't understand why people are going to adopt dogs/cats and not properly take care of them. This one client wouldn't have the dog checked for worms, didn't want to start heartworm prevention. I'm like and why did you adopt this dog? But whatever, I guess at least he wasn't euthanized.

I'm still on my count down for Michael coming home. 41 days!! Looking forward to it!!! We picked out an apartment for him and his parents are going to move him stuff in for him before he gets home so he is all set up, which will be nice!!

Don't have much else to talk about right now, just bored. And I had my annual physical and bloodwork. Well the bloodwork came back saying I am hypothyroid so I am going to start meds soon I guess. Could help with some problems like with my memory, weight issues, etc. So after I start them, hopefully I can figure out with with the rest of me, if not I will get that checked further too!! But I think I am going to an endocrinologist to be further worked up per mom, she wants me to. So I don't know we'll see.
