So It's been like 3 months since my last post at this point ... I am so bad at trying to keep up with this thing. Anyway I think my last post was right before I graduated from ASU and a LOT has definitely changed since then.
On January 8th, me and Michael got engaged. It was a Saturday I was working and he came in there and was a fake "check ears" appointment and when I walked in the room surprise surprise he was standing there with a beautiful bouquet of flowers when I was expecting an outdoor cat named Shooter lol. He asked how I was, I still suspected nothing and I thought he was just being silly. But then he pulled a black box out of his pocket and got down on one knee and proposed to me, it was very sweet and romantic (at least in my eyes!). My ring is gorgeous, I love it!!!
Then, the next week I had two interviews, both with the State. I got a call about a month after one of them with a job offer. So now I not only have two BS degrees from Appalachian, I had just got engaged and now I have a full time job... the Lord has truly been pouring out blessing the past couple of months!! Now I am a Medical Technologist for the Department of Health and Human Services with the State of North Carolina, and I work in the Tuberculosis Lab. It's pretty cool, I enjoy it and the people I work with are cool.
Though with all of the fun changes, I did have to leave VCA Durant Road Animal Hospital, which was sad. I spent the last 3.5 years there as a part time employee and enjoy all of the knowledge and experiences we had there! I will miss everyone.
But anyway signing off for now, I need to be better about posting!!
