So I graduated two days ago!!! It was great!! :) I now have a BS in Chemistry and Biology with a Pre-Professional concentration from Appalachian State University!! The ceremony was far too long, and there were well over 500 students walking in my ceremony I'm sure. The US Surgeon General, Dr. Benjamin, spoke as the guest speaker ... well she wasn't great. She was rambling on, and about half way through I tuned her out. But anyway, it was fun hearing my name called and walking across the stage!! I was sad that my boyfriends parents couldn't come, but they did get to watch me from the live stream that they put online for people who couldn't attend to still watch! But my family and grandmother and boyfriend were all there, along with a few friends. I heard them all screaming, it just made me laugh so hard on stage! lol. Though I did walk the stage, I still have two exams left. They were scheduled for Monday, but because of this wintry weather we are getting, they were moved to Wednesday. So it's unfortunate because now I am having the roughest time actually getting down to it and studying because I have a lot of stuff to pack and everything. So we'll see how that goes today! And I have a presentation to prepare for that I give tomorrow afternoon as my final "exam" in one of my classes, I'm just ready to get that over with, I hate public speaking!!
Otherwise, this who moving of exams has messed my week up! I am having my graduation party Saturday and I was getting nervous that I wasn't going to be able to make my own graduation party! lol. But I think I'll be fine in getting home, I hope!!
Alright, well enough with procrastinating, I will get to studying my Molecular Biology and practicing my presentation on Atmospheric Composition Change ... sounds fun, right!?!?! NOT!!!
